Contact us as soon as you know you will be starting chemotherapy and want to use cooling caps. This is because it takes 3-4 days for shipping and for the cooling caps to reach the necessary temperature.

Furthermore, there are two practical requirements for renting:

  • You need a freezer that can cool to at least -18 degrees Celsius and in which you can reserve two shelves or drawers for the cooling caps.
  • You need someone to help you at the hospital to put on the caps and change them at regular intervals during your chemotherapy treatments.

If ordered before 2 PM, the caps will be delivered on the next business day.

  • A COMPLETE SOLUTION

    For the cooling caps to work optimally, they must be used from the first to the last chemotherapy infusion. When you rent from us, you therefore receive a solution with everything you need to ensure the best possible outcome.

    A cooling cap system consists of:

    • 10 cooling cap sets (10 inner caps and 10 outer caps).
    • Cooling elements to keep the cooling caps cold in the hospital.
    • 2 x nets for the used cooling caps.
    • 1 x water spray bottle so you can moisten your hair in the hospital.
    • Disposable shower caps to keep hair moist under the cooling caps.
    • 1 x instruction manual.
    • 1 x brochure.
    • 1 x cooler bag on wheels so you can easily transport cooling caps and accessories to and from the hospital.

    Detailed instructions are included, and we will support you throughout your entire course of treatment.

  • PRICE

    The cooling caps are rented on a monthly basis.

    The price is 250 EUR per month from the start of the rental.

    In addition, there are shipping costs to and from your residential address in Austria as well as handling fees, starting from 54 EUR. All prices include VAT.

    It is advisable to keep the cardboard packaging so that it can be reused when returning the items after the process is complete.

FOR LONG-TERM PATIENTS

For long-term requirements, the standard subscription price will be charged for the first 3 months.

Thereafter, you will receive a 20% discount for up to 9 months, and after one year, the price will be reduced by 60% with continued use.

CLUB RAPUNZEL

When you rent cooling caps from us, you are simultaneously invited to become part of Klub Rapunzel, our shared, closed Facebook group for all former and current cooling cap users. Here, experiences can be safely exchanged, questions asked, and good advice and support given to each other to help navigate the process as smoothly as possible.

COOLING HOOD TRAINING

As a cooling cap user, you and your companion are invited to a short online introduction on how to use the cooling caps in practice. The cooling cap training takes place on weekdays at 1 PM. The goal is for you to be well prepared and have all your questions answered.
