RAPUNZEL IS A COMPANY WITH A BIG MISSION

We want to spread awareness about cooling caps and save as much hair as possible for the many people who have to undergo chemotherapy.

Anette and Camilla founded the company in 2023 after both had breast cancer – one with access to cooling caps and the other without. This contrasting experience was the starting point for Rapunzel and a shared mission:

to make cooling caps more accessible so that everyone has a real chance to preserve their hair during chemotherapy.

For many, hair loss is one of the most visible and distressing side effects, which can be experienced as psychologically and socially debilitating. Being able to preserve one's hair can therefore help improve quality of life and provide strength during an otherwise vulnerable time –

something we have experienced firsthand.

    Camilla has over 20 years of experience as a management consultant in areas such as strategy, innovation, and branding. Personally, Camilla is married and has 4 children.

  • ANETTE PAISOL, CO-FOUNDER

    Anette has a broad commercial background, including experience in the medical industry, and is also a trained medical assistant. She has three adult children and a dog named Max. Anette has a particularly strong commitment to the safety and well-being of our users and continuously contributes with her extensive knowledge of the use of cooling caps.

  • MARIE KRAGH NIELSEN, USER EXPERIENCE & QUALITY MANAGER

    Marie holds a Master's degree in Health Science and has a background as an orthopedic-surgical nurse at Herlev/Gentofte Hospital, giving her extensive knowledge of medical devices and patient needs in practice. In her personal life, she is married with two children.

    Marie is responsible for the user journey – including service, quality assurance, and the crucial work of ensuring all our users feel safe, heard, and well-supported. Marie is passionate about making navigation easier during a difficult time and places great importance on ensuring that no one is left alone with questions, doubts, or needs that could be resolved with careful consideration and good information.

  • PERNILLE MUNCH-CHRISTENSEN, USER EXPERIENCE CONSULTANT

    Pernille is a trained Medical Assistant with many years of experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors. She has extensive knowledge of patient care pathways and understands the importance of being met with clear information and presence. Pernille addresses users' questions and needs that may arise before, during, and after a cold cap treatment course, and places great importance on ensuring everyone feels well-informed and supported, no matter where they are in the process.

    Victoria is studying International Business Communication & Marketing at the University of Southern Denmark, lives in Copenhagen, and always has many irons in the fire.
